Словенские ученые изобрели первый в мире аудиоплеер, в котором пластинка парит в воздухе. Компания MAG-LEV Audio представила пока что единственный экземпляр своей разработки. Принцип ее действия основывается на использовании магнитных подушек, которые поддерживают пластинку и вращают ее с необходимой скоростью.

"Используя инновационные технологии, нам удалось достичь не только того, что пластинка висит в воздухе, но и ее невероятно точного вращения, - рассказал представитель компании Клемен Смртник. - Весь процесс регулируется с помощью специальных датчиков и соответствующего программного обеспечения".
По его словам, новая технология имеет целый ряд положительных моментов. Например, плавающая пластинка из-за отсутствия контакта с какой-либо поверхностью прослужит значительно дольше, т.к. на ней не будет царапин. Кроме того, автоматика новой технологии позволяет с высокой точностью направлять звуковую головку на дорожки пластинки, обеспечивая тем самым звучание улучшенного качества.
Владелец устройства может выбрать и скорость воспроизведения, которая варьируется от 33,3 до 45 оборотов в минуту. Оно имеет все необходимые для подключения к другим аудиосистемам выходы, а также собственный аккумулятор, который при отключении электричества позволит системе осуществить безопасное автоматическое выключение.

В настоящее время плеер является start-up проектом, а компания-разработчик рассчитывает собрать €300 тыс. для начала его серийного производства. Стоимость первых 100 устройств будет снижена и составит €780 в пластиковом исполнении и €840 - с деревянными декоративными вставками. Впоследствии цены на проигрыватели вырастет до €880 и €940 соответственно, заявили в компании.

We’ve added platter feet, which allow the platter to rest in OFF mode. These feet automatically retract when you begin using the turntable. When the tonearm is placed back in its original position, the platter feet will automatically rise up and you can safely switch off the turntable.

Accidents happen, and we know that sometimes you may encounter a power outage, so we’ve designed the turntable with a UPS system. This solution stores enough power to safely lift the tonearm, stop the record, and return the platter feet to resting position. This way the turntable and your record remain in perfect condition even when the unexpected happens.

We’ve added subtle orange lighting, which gives the turntable a sleek, futuristic feel, and further enhances the visual effects of levitation even when the lights are off.
