Компания LG анонсировала три новых монитора, заявив экран, изготовленный по технологии Nano IPS. Продемонстрированы они будут через неделю на выставке CES. Первый из тройки, 34” дисплей, стал первым монитором компании с соотношением сторон 21:9 и разрешением 5120х2160 пикс. Он может похвастать сертификацией HDR600, что означает пиковую яркость изображения в 600 кд/м2. Сама же LG уверяет, что пиковая яркость дисплея даже выше указанной.

Ещё одной интересной деталью стала поддержка Thunderbolt 3, причём монитор имеет как вход, так и выход, позволяя последовательно подключить пару мониторов. Теоретически, этим мониторам даже не потребуется дополнительное питание.
Другая 34” модель при том же соотношении сторон имеет разрешение 3440x1440.
Третий монитор, 32” UHD 4K модель, стал первым, в котором использована технология Nano IPS, ранее уже показанная в телевизорах. Технология Nano IPS предусматривает внедрение нанометровых частиц в поверхность экрана, которые поглощают избыточные световые волны. Такой подход позволяет повысить интенсивность и чистоту цветов, обеспечивая реалистичную передачу изображений.

В результате, цветовое покрытие спектра DCI-P3 составляет 98%, что при поддержке HDR600 делает монитор идеальным решением для дизайнеров и художников.
О ценах и доступности LG пока ничего не сообщила.
