Компания Asus представила первый смартфон на новом топовом чипсете Snapdragon 821. Правда, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe выходит в трех модификациях, и новый чипсет получит только одна из них, сообщает производитель. Новый чипсет фактически является улучшенной версией Snapdragon 820 с теми же ядрами Kryo. Однако их тактовая частота была повышена до 2,4 ГГц (на 10%), также производитель улучшил показатели стабильности работы и энергоэффективности.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe появится в августе в магазинах Тайваня и Гонконга, в других странах он будет доступен позднее. Младшая модификация с 4 ГБ оперативной и 32 ГБ постоянной памяти будет стоить около 500 долларов (31 896 рублей), средняя (6 ГБ/64 ГБ) – 560 долларов (35 723 рубля), топовая на Snapdragon 821 – 780 долларов (49 758 рублей).
