Что касается NUC, то обе модели имеют эквивалентные спецификации. Так, они поддерживают до 32 ГБ памяти DDR4-2400 SODIMM в двух слотах, имеют два слота M.2 22x42/80 key M для SATA 3 или PCIe x4 NVMe SSD, два порта Thunderbolt 3 40 Гб/с, порты USB 3.1 Gen2 10 Гб/с и DisplayPort 1.2 через USB-C, фронтальный и тыльный выходы HDMI 2.0, два гигабитных сетевых адаптера, встроенную графику 802.11ac 8265 Intel WiFi с Bluetooth 4.2, 7.1-канальный звук, массивы из 4-х микрофонов с формированием луча, и, наконец, инфракрасные порты.
Габариты Hades Canyon NUC составляют 221х142х39 мм. Для украшение имеется съёмная светодиодная подсветка.
Новые компьютеры NUC будут продаваться как наборы для самостоятельной сборки с весны этого года.

Following the launch of its 8th Generation Core with Radeon RX Vega M Graphics chips, Intel has also announced its new Intel NUC, codenamed Hades Canyon.
Packed in a 1.2L chassis, the Intel NUC, at least according to Chipzilla, is the smallest VR-capable system ever. Powered by either the unlocked 100W Core i7-8809G CPU with Radeon RX Vega M GH graphics, SKU NUC8i7HVK, or the 65W Core i7-8705G with Radeon RX Vega M GL graphics. In case you missed the official specifications of these two chips, both are Kaby Lake quad-core CPUs with HyperThreading and work at a 3.1GHz base clock and have 8MB of cache.
The Radeon RX Vega M GH packs 24 Compute Units (CUs) for a total of 1536 Stream Processors while the Radeon RX Vega M GL has 20 CUs or 1280 Stream Processors.
Both SKUs share the rest of the specifications including support for up to 32GB of DDR4-2400 SODIMM memory in two slots, two M.2 22x42/80 key M slots for SATA 3 or PCIe x4 NVMe SSDs, two Thunderbolt 3 40Gbps ports, USB 3.1 Gen2 10Gbps and DisplayPort 1.2 via USB-C, front and rear HDMI 2.0 for VR headsets, dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet, integrated 802.11Ac 8265 Intel WiFi with Bluetooth 4.2, 7.1-channel audio, quad beam-forming mic array, IR port and more.
The Hades Canyon NUC comes with a 1.2L chassis, measuring 221 x 142 x 39 mm. It has a replaceable lid with customizable RGB LEDs.
The NUC will be sold as bare bones kits and will be available this spring.
