Длина новых моделей составляет 150 мм в версиях мощностью до 650 ватт включительно, но более высокие мощности и соответствующая схемотехника всё же потребовали увеличения этого параметра до 160 мм, что, впрочем, всё равно не слишком много.
Компания гарантирует разброс питающих напряжений под нагрузкой, не превышающий 2 %. В конструкции использованы конденсаторы японского производства, рассчитанные на повышенную температуру, что позволило EVGA снабдить свои новинки пятилетней гарантией. У всех блоков единая линия 12 вольт, отличается только максимальный ток, составляющий от 37,4 ампера в младшей модели до 70,8 ампера в старшей. Для охлаждения используется тихий вентилятор с гидродинамическим подшипником, который при низкой нагрузке может останавливаться. Все блоки EVGA B3 оснащены полным спектром защит: OVP (перегрузка по напряжению), UVP (аномально низкое напряжение), OCP (перегрузка по току), OPP (перегрузка по мощности), SCP (защита от КЗ) и OTP (защита от перегрева).

The power supplies in the B3 lineup range from 450W to 850W capacity. All five models are 80 Plus Bronze certified. EVGA goes as far as saying these PSUs offer near-Silver efficiency thanks to their use of Japanese capacitors. The company notes that the updated models offer tighter voltage regulation than previous versions, with less than 2% ripple.
Alongside all this comes a nice set of features we'd expect to see on higher-priced models. The supplies in the B3 line sport hydraulic dynamic bearing fans for quieter operation, while a semi-passive mode allows the fans to stop when the PSU is under the low and medium load.
Better yet, these units aren't massive metal bricks with an Old One's worth of rubber tentacles pouring out one side. The B3 line is fully modular across the board. They're compact, too. While the 750 and 850-watt models are 160 mm long, the 450, 550, and 650-watt models measure only 150 mm long each. Tom's Hardware says the OEM for these PSUs is Super Flower.
