Компании Colorful и Chaintech в ходе Computex представили материнскую плату, оснащённую графическим процессором GP104-200 от NVIDIA, таким же, какой стоит в видеокарте GeForce GTX 1070. При этом сама материнская плата выглядит как бюджетное решение для игровой системы на базе чипсета Intel B150. Представленная плата вообще лишена слотов PCIe, однако имеет уже распаянный GPU и память GDDR5 от Samsung. По сути, покупатели получат ту же GTX 1070, только встроенную в материнскую плату.

О том, что на плате использован недорогой чипсет и сокет LGA 1151 для процессоров Skylake, следует из её названия — B150-GP104. Кроме этого на плате обнаружены два слота для памяти SODIMM.

Также отмечается, что Colorful продемонстрировала материнскую плату со встроенной видеокартой GTX 980. Кроме того, по слухам, фирма готовит и версию со встроенной GTX 960. Формат материнских плат также разный, от стандартной платформы до m-ITX. При этом источник отмечает, что такие решения вряд ли поступят в розничную продажу. Наиболее вероятно их можно будет встретить в недорогих игровых компьютерах малого размера, таких как Steam Machine и рюкзак виртуальной реальности.

Colorful Shows Motherboard with integrated Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU

Here's something new, Colorful and Chaintech have shown a motherboard on Computex which houses a GP104-200 Nvidia GPU. That's the GTX 1070 for you. The motherboard seems to be a budget B150 Intel motherboard for compact gaming systems.

The motherboard has no PCIe slots available. But directly at that spot there is a GPU integrated on the PCB, along with GDDR5 memory chips from Samsung. From the markings on the GPU can be seen that it is the same chip as the GPU of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070. The board is codenamed 'B150-GP104', which seems to make it clear that it is a motherboard with Intel B150 chipset and socket 1151 for Skylake processors. Colorful as well showed a motherboard with integrated GTX 980 GPU and the manufacturer has a version of a GTX 960 GPU in the works as well. We doubt a little that such motherboards will reach the market for consumers, we tkink more along the lines of small form factor game computers. The size of the motherboard also differs from standard form factors such as m-ITX.
