Компания Acer анонсировала пару новых ноутбуков в рамках серии Travelmate P2. Устройства адресованы бизнес-пользователям.
Ассортимент тайваньского производителя пополнили портативные компьютеры TravelMate P249 и TravelMate P259, имеющие 14- и 15,6-дюймовые LED-экраны соответственно. В обоих случаях разрешающая способность дисплея составляет 1920 1080 пикселей.

Acer Travelmate P2

Оба аппарата комплектуются одним из процессоров Intel Core шестого поколения (Skylake), графическим ускорителем NVIDIA GeForce 940M, до 32 Гбайт оперативной памяти и операционной системой Windows 10. Также предусмотрены продвинутая аудиосистема Acer TrueHarmony, оптический DVD-привод и клавиатура с подсветкой. Корпус лэптопов покрыт специальным нецарапающимся материалом.

Ориентация новинок на деловых людей выражена в следующих функциях: сканер отпечатков пальцев (обеспечивает быстрый вход в систему с помощью функции Windows Hello), чип для защиты данных Trusted Platform Module 2.0, замок Kensington и сертификация Skype for Business.

Кроме того, предустановленное ПО Acer Office Manager облегчает развёртывание политики безопасности и контроль за ней, а инструменты Acer Proshield упрощают управление данными, защитой информации и учётными записями в Интернете.

Acer начнёт продажи TravelMate P249 и TravelMate P259 в четвёртом квартале 2016 года. Стоимость ноутбуков составит от $599.
