Ненаю, у меня вылетает может на 3 дня один раз.. никаких патчей..

Я имею ввиду русскую версию, которые уже во-всю продают . Вот именно в руской версии наблюдаются глюки и именно о ней много жалоб на GAME- форумах. И патч весом в 11 Мб выкладывают. Сам покупал русскую версию и с этим столкнулся
Так что приношу извинения - ведь разговор шел о англицкой верии, поторопился. А полноценную Rus - будем ждать ;)

Как правильно сделать, чтоб была не глючиная Русская версия игры!
(не глючила постройка зданий; копы, пожарные, садовники и другие NPC не глючили, был наезд во время входа на местность и т.д.)
1. Установите английскую версию игры.
2. Установите daemon346.exe (http://www.cafe-b52.nl/sims2/Daemon346.exe).
3. Скачайте fix.zip (http://www.cafe-b52.nl/sims2/Fix.zip) и распакуйте его куда-нибудь.
4. Перезагрузитесь. Daemon автоматически окажется в трее; нажмякнуть пр. кликом
мыши на значок этой проги (для тех, кто в танке - значок находится там же, где и меню
"Пуск", только справа - там где часы)
В появившемся контекстном меню отключить все галочки в Options и Emulation.
В той же менюшке выбрать Virtual CD/DVD-ROM, затем Device 0, там выбрать Mount Image.
Найти путь к ранее распакованным файлам и выбрать тот, который с расширением
.MDS
5. Скачайте sims2_original.rar (http://www.cafe-b52.nl/sims2/Sims2_original.rar) замените ваш sims2.exe {(x:\games\sims2\tsbin\)- он находится здесь} на тот который находится в скачаном архиве.
теперь у вас есть НЕглючная английская версия игры
6. Открывайте ваш DVD диск. Открывайте папку DATARUS и скопируйте её содержимое (кроме папки UserDATA!!!) в аналогичную папку, которая находится у Вас в уснановленной игре.
7. Скачивайте и инсталируйте вот этот патч http://www.cdclub.pp.ru/patches/patchSIMS2.zip
P.S. После такого патча игры, диск будет не запрашивать!

Купила ребёнку DVD the SIMS 2
один раз игра заработала нормально,
но пришлось переустановить OC.
И теперь полная тишина:

Periodic Events Controller will no longer loop twice per hour through each neighbor which was causing extreme lag on certain machines.
