USM Pro™ v1.20 - Ultra Sharp Mask Pro

USMPro™ is a serious, yet easy-to-use digital sharpening tool that uses complex masking routines (up to 12) along with image specific edge detection filters to give a clean and sharp digital image while not increasing grain, noise, and the dreaded "halo" effect.
Unsharp masking originated in the graphic film industry. An inverted blurred film mask of the original image was made, then contact printed in register with the original. This film process acted as an automatic dodge and burn, holding more detail in the highlights and increasing contrast and detail in the shadows.
USMPro™ has expanded on this process - digitally. Unsharp Mask filters, like those found in Photoshop™, PhotoPaint™, or Printshop Pro™ alone aren't enough to produce a truly sharper image. The process will invariably try to change all the pixel information on any given image. The goal is to develop a more concise 'edge mask' to apply the 'sharpen' routines.
That's what USMPro™ does. Not only that, USMPro™ gives you even more flexibility by letting you select specific areas to sharpen at different sharpening levels.

з.ы. подобный плаг резкости есть в Фотошопе, немогу сказать пока ничего конкретного, поскольку скачал прогу, тестю, сравниваю, с виду так ниче - заслуживает внимания... вывод - рекомендую, очень не плохие результаты, хотя надо обратить внимание на то, что конкретно мы хотим.... в смысле jpg качества.
