WebSite-Watcher позволяет Вам отслеживать неограниченное количество веб-сайтов в поисках обновлений и изменений на них за минимум времени и затрат на онлайн. Теперь Вы можете отслеживать изменения, не затрачивая усилий для их поиска!
Если на веб-сайте обнаружены изменения, WebSite-Watcher сохраняет на жёсткий диск две последние версии страницы и подсвечивает изменения в тексте.

Самый главный недостаток это что при работы через прокси страницы берутся из кеша.
И внастройках нигде нет.

Все гениальное просто. Автору трудно письмо написать? В следующей версии будет необходимое.
С английским нелады - загнал русский текст в автопереводчик типа Promt, вставил перевод в письмо. Поймёт о чем речь, если подробно опишешь проблему, а не два слова. Придёт ответ - опять загнал в автопереводчик - получил русский текст. Всё просто оказывается. Если будешь ждать чего-то, можешь никогда не дождаться. Активным надо быть.

Если здесь появятся упрёки - мол я не зарегеный юзер, как я могу послать автору письмо...
Отвечаю. Опять всё просто. Начало письма: Я загрузил триал-версию вашей программы. Программа класная. Хотел бы приобрести, но мешает такая закорюка...
К потенциальным клиентам всегда относятся уважительно, бяки исправляют. Это в их же интересах. Так что оказывается зарегеным юзером быть необязательно, чтоб авторы исправляли глюки или добавляли нужные тебе функции...

Это всё применимо и к автору WebSite-Watcher. За последние полгода глюков пять он мне исправил. Одну фишку обещает выполнить в версии 3.60 - сделать значок программы (глаз) в заголовке браузера перемещаемым. Потому что там, где глаз расположен нынче, он мешает кнопкам сторонних программ (например у меня - программам-дополнениям диалога Открыть/Сохранить типа Direct Folders и XFilesDialog).
В общем порядок действий я описал.

[+] RSS support (many websites offer new content as RSS newsfeeds, an example URL is http://slashdot.org/index.rss) . WebSite-Watcher transforms RSS files into a readable format.
[x] Bookmark properties / AutoWatch: Settings are now check every seconds/minutes/hours. "check every x times" is no longer available and the global countdown value in the general options is no longer needed.
[+] Folder properties: Delete bookmark after specified time
[+] Folder properties: Many bookmark properties can be overridden per folder
[+] General options: Hide InfoWin automatically when no updates are available
[+] General options: Hide InfoWin automatically when WebSite-Watcher becomes foreground window
[+] If a server sends the file size, the downloaded page is compared with this size. If not equal, Website-Watcher tries to download the site a second time. This will reduce false alerts of truncated downloads.
[+] If a file download was running and WebSite-Watcher was closed, then the download was aborted. Now WebSite-Watcher asks if you want to close the program when a download is active.
[+] Internal preview: Open links in your default browser instead of Internet Explorer (if IE is not your standard browser). This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled in the options menu of the internal preview.
[+] The internal preview can now block annoying popups (a small side effect: you cannot open a link in a new window via the context menu until the site is completely loaded, but Shift+Click on a link works always). [x] Dialup: The RAS-dll is only loaded when it is really needed. If you have a permanent internet connection WSW doesn't try to load this dll. The wswatch.ini setting UseRas=0 is no longer needed if you had problems with this dll.
[x] When WebSite-Watcher crashes while a check is running then WSW restores automatically the latest check status
[x] Add new bookmarks: a doubly entered http-protocol (http://http://) is automatically removed
