BlackICE Server 3.5.ceh
BlackICE Server (BIS) - является программой-детектором вторжений в вашу систему. Её основная цель - отслеживать все передачи данных по сети. В отличие от NIS здесь нет антивирусной программы или указания отдельным программам доступа к портам. Однако система регулирования и контроля доступа к сетевым портам, возможность задания доверительных (trusted) и запрещённых (untrusted) адресов считается, по результатам тестирования, более надежной. Плюс к тому есть возможность контроля доступа к файлам, звуковое оповещение атаки.

What: BlackICE Server Protection 3.6 cbd (update for BlackICE Server Protection 3.5 ceh)

Why: This is the latest release with that includes updating the baseline with new applications and have added 100+ new events.

Please make sure to review the on-line README as it may contain important last minute updates.

Applicability: This update is applicable to BlackICE Defender for Server 2.9 and BlackICE Server Protection 3.5 cbq and 3.5cdf-If you are upgrading from a version of Defender for Server before 2.9 it is recommended that you uninstall before downloading the new version.

- HTTP_Outlook_Codebase_Execute (SecChkID 11411) has been renamed to HTML_Outlook_Codebase_Execute.
- A false Negative with HTTP_Cross_Site_Scripting was removed.
- A false postive in Email_Virus_Suspicious_Zip was removed.
- A false positive in HTTP_IE_Status_Spoof was removed.
- Added content parsing for ZLIP compression format.
- Added content parsing for ARJ compression format.
- Added content parsing for CAB format/files.
- PAM tuning parameter pam.dns.answer.count was added for DNS_Windows_SMTP_Overflow. The default is 100.

- The amount of tuning parameter information dumped to the PAM log when it starts has been reduced.
- A small performance improvement in HTTP_Fields_With_Binary was made.
