Sonic DVDit является некоторой золотой серединой в продуктах DVD-авторинга от Sonic Solutions - между Sonic MyDVD и Sonic ReelDVD.Это интуитивно понятное приложение для создания DVD профессионального качества. В процессе работы можно импортировать видео, аудио и обычные графическиие изображения, создавать меню (одно или несколько), кнопки управления, фон, текст, можно использовать свои.
Для индикации каждой главы (части) можно использовать любой видео кадр или картинку.
Имеется поддержка звука в формате Dolby Digital Stereo, со встроенным кодировщиком звука в этот формат.
Фильм может состоять из множества файлов, причем последовательность проигрывания определяется пользователем при создании диска.
Допускается иерархическая структура из нескольких меню.
Просмотр всего фильма, включая вступительный клип (First Play), возможен без перехода в меню.
Каждое меню может иметь свое звуковое сопровождение.
