3D Browser - это мощный просмотрщик 2D и 3D-графики, предназначенный для просмотра и редактирования файлов. Состоит он из двух утилит: браузера (выполненного по типу проводника Windows) и собственно самого вьювера. В процессе работы программа может мирно почивать в системном трее рядом с часами, никого не тревожа и, время от времени, приходя на помощь.
3D Browser поддерживает более шестидесяти графических форматов и практически все 3D-форматы вкупе с аудио. Кроме графических файлов 3D Browser может отображать содержимое *.html-страниц. Стоит указать программе какую-нибудь директорию с файлами, и 3D Browser проанализирует ее содержание и отобразит в правой части окна содержимое каждого файла (если, конечно, формат поддерживается программой). Визуализация 3D-моделей осуществляется посредством OpenGL. Двойной клик по файлу открывает его для детального изучения его содержимого в окне вьювера. Например, трехмерные объекты можно передвигать и вращать. Кроме этого, каждый составной объект можно просматривать по деталям, для чего достаточно в списке Objects List указать, что должно отображаться. Если в трехмерной сцене имеются сложные модели с большим числом полигонов, то для этого случая разработчики Mootools Software интегрировали в 3D Browser один из своих известных продуктов Polygon Cruncher Optimizer. (Этот дополнительный модуль предназначен для оптимизации модели, которая достигается путем уменьшения количества полигонов, без существенного изменения геометрии объекта, чтобы не нагружать машину).
3D-модель может отображаться в одном из четырех режимов: в виде сетки (Wireframe), грубо (Flat), при включенном сглаживании (Smooth) или в режиме отображения текстур (Enable Texturing). Возможно также отображение в смешанном режиме, когда модель отображается в режиме сглаживания, но при этом видна сетка. 3D Browser позволяет автоматически сменять просматриваемые файлы в режиме слайд-шоу, причем делать это
можно по определенному критерию (скажем, только трехмерные сцены или только растровые изображения).

По сравнению с предыдущими, в новой версии 7.6 присутствует:
