EditStudio- это программа видеоредактирования, позволяющая захватывать видео от разнообразных источников, редактировать его и встраивать в свои проекты. Ей присущи возможности гораздо более дорогих аналогов, и одновременно, она доступна для начинающего. Возможно создание
проекта с разрешением до 1024*768 px. Поддерживаются форматы AVI, MPEG, DV, QuickTime and Windows Media. Полезные возможности: удаление нежелательных подписей или логотипов, создание анимированных маршрутов на картах, возможность редактирования прямо в окне preview.

More Plugins And Effects
- 3 point colour correction is included; this provides advanced colour correction and colour matching
- Digital photo quality levels and curves controls.
- Editstudio's fast and high-quality MPEG encoder is now provided as part of Editstudio. This gives the ability to create high quality video for Video CD (VCD), Super VCD (SVCD) and DVD use.
- MPEG-2 import is now supported by default.
- Other plugins included that are now part of the package include Windows Media and QuickTime export, Dissolve Through Colour and Mosaic.

New Editing Tools
- New delete space tool. Rather than having to use the "Close Gap" or "Delete Space" tools in Editstudio 4, all you have to do now is click on a gap and press the Del key to delete it.

- New item insert capability. Inserting a new item into a space, or between 2 existing items will expand the space to accommodate the new item.

- New cut out section feature. Using the new dual time cursor, sections of items can be kept or cut out as a single operation.

- Trimming directly on the timeline. The Mark In / Out dialog box from previous versions of Editstudio has been removed and all trim tools are now available direct on the timeline. Trimming operations now work automatically with linked audio/video items.
- Multiple items can now be inserted as a single operation, making it easy to quickly assemble a running order or slideshow.
- Frame placement presets ("Fit to frame", "Crop to frame", "Rotate", etc...) can now be applied to multiple picture items as single operation.
- Transitions are automatically created simply by overlapping 2 items.
- Audio crossfades are automatically created by simply overlapping 2 items.

Improved Audio
- Audio can now be sped up, slowed down and reversed. This now gives audio items the same flexibility as video items.
- New audio effects, including 5 band equaliser, echo and wind noise removal.
- Audio volume levels can now be set for each item and each layer. This is on top of Editstudio's existing ability to keyframe audio volume, balance and pan. Getting the perfect mix is now easier than ever.

Easier To Use
- Effects (video and audio) are now drawn onto the item for clarity. This makes it much easier to use effects directly on items. Clicking on the effect displays its properties in the Properties window. Clicking on the item shows the item's properties.
- The menu layout has been completely re-thought. Features are now much more obvious, rather than hidden away in dialog boxes.
- More keyboard shortcuts.
- Layers can be assigned layer types, making it easier to keep organised and to help Editstudio's automatically created transitions in the right place.
- Audio peak files are now not created automatically, so you can keep working without having to wait for them to finish. Multiple peak files can be generated in a single operation.
- Most error dialog boxes have now been replaced with information on the status bar. Extended error information is there if you want it, but it's not bothering you if you don't.
- The Media Explorer has been simplified to allow much faster access to commonly used effects. All the cool features like batch capture items, user presets and sharing media between projects is still provided.
