AOpen barebones users will greatly appreciate this beta. Some other manufacturers do use some of these sensor to monitor CPU temperatures (ECS uses them, for example).
Another interesting feature from this beta is that it tries to properly read temperatures from SCSI drives from which SpeedFan currently reads 0. To test this beta, first install SpeedFan 4.21, then overwrite the original EXE with this one. Any SEND REPORT will be appreciated. Feel free to let me know if you find any issue, even if a minor one.
Tool to attempt to set AAM on hard disks that support it 1.01 (15 dec 2004)
This tool tries to understand which OS and which drivers do support the relevant calls that need to be done in order to set AAM (Automatic Acoustic Management) on modern hard disks. It works only on NT class operating systems.

This beta fixes support for fan speed changing (PWM) on motherboards (there are a lot!) that use NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR LM85, ANALOG DEVICES ADM1027 and ADT7463 and SMSC EMC6D103. Such motherboards include Intel ones and SHUTTLE SN95G5V2.
This beta allows the end user (you) to set new HI LIMITs for temperatures from MAXIM MAX6657 too. This should allow you to select at which temperature the fan starts operating. SAMSUNG P35 and similar systems should benefit from this and I would really like to know more from you. Simply enter CONFIG / ADVANCED and experiment with those settings.

This beta adds full support for AMD64 (64 bit) platform. A new installer procedure has been written to handle new OS and the additional (and system specific) service (speedfan.sys). All the features are available. I/O support has undergone a deep rewrite. I would like to know if this beta properly installs on your system, if it cleanly uninstalls and if it properly works. I need reports from every Windows version. Please send me SEND REPORTs (the button on the INFO tab). This is the full installer, but remember that this beta is packaged with so many changes that great care should be taken before setting and forgetting it.
This beta adds full support for ATI SB300 SMBus and Fintek F75375S too.

Big news! This latest beta starts to add support for Abit uGuru. It was properly tested on an AS8, but because of the early testing stage, it is not enabled by default. Replace the EXE from version 4.23 and then run SpeedFan with the following command line switch: /DOUGURUSCAN. Have a look at this article if you don't know how to do it. Please, send me SEND REPORTs (INFO tab) from your Abit hardware so that I can properly verify if everything is working fine and how reliably. Please, note that there is no arbitration to avoid accessing uGuru together with other tools and the results are unknown. If your motherboard is not supported, feel free to drop me an email and I will do my best.
This beta adds even another interesting feature, but we focus on it later on :-)

Ребята ! Подскажите пожалста в чём может быть проблема в напряжениях +12 V показывает +5,5 V ! Еслиб 12 вольт было не 12 , то комп не завёлся - надеюсь я правильно думаю ! Мать - 915 P-A ECS Elitegroup ,Процессор Pentium 4 - 2,8 Mhz !

Да забыл - измерял SpeedFan 4.23 и SpeedFan 4.24 показывают одинаково ! Тестером не мерял ,т.к нету и тестами тоже не проверял !

EVENTS now can access SMART hard disk attributes. Now you can popup a message when your hard disk is reallocating bad sectors or any other SMART related info. I would like to know if multiple events defined on system with more than one HD work properly. This latest beta includes a new check for UGURU. This new check should no longer cause an error message to show up when something is going wrong with WMI. Let me know if the error message is gone for you. Together with other minor fixes, this beta uses a new internal technology I would like to make sure that works on all systems, from Win9x up to 2K3.
In order to run this beta, simply install SpeedFan 4.25, then replace the EXE from version 4.25 and then run SpeedFan as usual. Please, use the SEND REPORT facility on the INFO tab.
